What do I need to bring
Your instrument, if you have one and If you are strumming, a clip-on digital tuner is really useful
as the temperature changes between inside your car, out in the open and inside the hall your
strings will go out of tune very quickly, When we practice all the lyrics and chords are projected
onto a large screen.
I'm just a beginner
We all were once! It’s useful to have some basic chord knowledge but enthusiasm and
willingness to have a go are the most important skills you can bring.
What if I can’t Sing
We hear this often, We’ve probably all said this to ourselves at one time, consequently many
people just avoid singing altogether. But everyone can sing, they just don’t know it. A few people
will have a great voice but most of us are simply average. It doesn’t matter, what does matter is
that after the initial apprehension you relax and enjoy it. then you’ll find your voice.
Come to any of our sessions
Just come along to any of our regular Friday Sessions, we’ll look out for you and get you playing
in no time. We meet at 4pm - 6pm every Friday. We break at 5pm for a cuppa.

Community involvement: Our music group will play at all kinds of events. Here are a few
examples from our community: performances at the Gwelfore Community Centre, the
local WI, Retirement Homes, Warm Space, Penucheldre, Dementia Care Units.
Another benefit of belonging to a group it motivates you to practice. You’ll find both your
playing and singing skills improve quickly.
